full time Bilingual Customer Service Representative

To report directly to Customer Care Bilingual Team Leader on an ongoing basis and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to the business unit within the company.
Communicate effectively with the Customer Care Team Leader with respect to clarity of direction, approval for decisions and execution of all responsibilities.
To ensure Customer Service is the most important priority.
Receive/ take and enter customer orders on SAP promptly.  All orders faxed, phoned in, or e-mailed before 5:00p.m. will be entered the same business day.
To ensure confirmations are faxed back to customers detailing pricing differences, stock status, etc.
Where products are discontinued or unavailable the Customer Care Representative will check with Sales (TSR), Product Managers and/or the Manager of Customer Service and Distribution to determine if an alternative is available.
Investigate with the assistance of Customer Credit Services in Cleveland the reasons for credit hold status if applicable, and assist in resolving the issues ensuring the customers order can be shipped without delay.  Where issues are not easily resolvable the Customer Care Representative will contact the customer and inform them why their order is unable to ship that day.
Each time a Customer Care Representative answers a call they are charged with taking ownership of that customer’s inquiry and request until it is resolved.
Must issue and follow up on all Return Goods Authorization’s (RGA).
Report directly to the Bilingual Team Leader Customer Care and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to the situation.
To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Bilingual Team Leader Customer Care in a timely and professional manner.

Bilingual (English/French)
Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent telephone etiquette and organization skills
Solid computer skills (Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, and SAP experience is an asset)
Presents a very professional and positive attitude with customers and co-workers
Previous experience in Customer Service is essential especially in a manufacturing environment
Experience in welding and/or the welding field is also a strong asset
