The job:

As a Creative Manager in Buchanan Group, you'll not only be writing compelling copy across a variety of mediums that can be seen in diverse countries and markets, but you'll also be responsible for the timely and high quality creative output of the creative department. You'll be managing creative resources and multiple employees, creating and guiding creative concepts and liaising closely with production and post-production resources. As we work with leading CPG clients, each day will be different and full of challenges -- but as a Buchanan Group Creative Manager, you'll be expected to tackle them head on.

What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate should have some experience in advertising and the media industry and be motivated to succeed. He/she would ideally have some experience managing people though this is not mandatory. Importantly, he/she should have exemplary copywriting skills and be able to employ them quickly and efficiently, as well as a comprehensive grasp on the facets and challenges of producing compelling communication for television.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• A University degree / Diploma in English, Journalism, Media, Communication or related field.
• Experience in copywriting, professional writing or communication.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing creative resources.
• Creative and lateral problem-solving skills.
• The ability to write across mediums and for a range of demographics.
• A working knowledge of social and new-media platforms.
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• An intimate understanding of the advertising industry.
• Presentation / Public-speaking skills.
• Organizational Skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Experience and interest in design or post-production is a bonus.
