at SIENNA SENIOR LIVING - Cheltenham Care Community in Toronto

We're on a quest to find a Receptionist at Cheltenham Care Community.

As a valued member of the team, the Receptionist will help us champion our collective commitment to deliver quality care and fulfill our mission to help residents live fully every day.

The Receptionist is accountable for utilizing customer service principles that strive to provide exceptional service at all times with co-workers, residents, families and the public in their day-to-day work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):
• Perform incidental clerical work including typing, filing, delivering messages, sorting mail, photocopying, faxing, etc.
• Answering, screening and directing of all telephone calls.
• Greeting all visitors with the utmost courtesy and directing as required.
• Maintaining accurate and updated resident listings.
• Preparing of charts and files for new admissions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS (But not limited to):
• Secondary school graduate or equivalent education.
• Minimum of two years computer experience and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to handle several tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Must have strong communication skills and be friendly and courteous in dealings with all contacts.
• Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Fluency in Russian preferred.

Term: Temporary
Duration: 1 year (maternity leave)
Status: Full-Time
