Primary Duties Include:
• Process and revise electronic documents including dictation, editing and preparing black lining as necessary
• Digital transcription
• Docket entry, pre-bill and account preparation
• Schedule management
• Maintenance of extensive filing system and databases
• Prioritization of mail, workload and all time sensitive deadlines
• Composing client correspondence
• Photocopying, filing, etc.
• Other administrative duties as required

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications
• 6-8 years of corporate/commercial and real estate experience
• Legal Assistant certificate/diploma
• Solid understanding of corporate transactions (i.e. mergers, acquisitions, commercial documents) and of commercial real estate transactions (i.e. purchase and sale transactions and financing)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to pay attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting, with minimal supervision and take initiative
• Strong technical skills (MS Office 2007, DM Hummingbird and Fastco preferred)
