full time Recruitment Specialist (Toronto)

We are a boutique firm that specializes in placement of high-calibre personnel in luxury residences and hotels around the world.


  • Build and maintain a database of clients and following up on new business leads through referrals, internet, business directories and other sources
  • Working a job order from inception to post placement (this includes client call, candidate search, references, placement and follow-up)
  • Sourcing, screening, interviewing and referencing candidates for placements in alignment with existing procedures and protocols
  • Maintaining records of all candidate information and updating when required
  • Reporting in weekly sales meetings status of open positions and activities
  • Fulfillment of a client’s employment needs by developing a candidate list as per job specs, coordinating interview schedules, candidate preparations, assist in contract negotiations
  • Client and candidate follow up subsequent to placement to ensure mutual gratification
  • Reporting in weekly sales meetings


  • Post Secondary Education or equivalent experience required
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and oral
  • Up to 2 years of Recruitment experience within the staffing industry (preference will be given to candidates with experience in the hospitality, domestic or luxury industries)
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with other effectively in teams
  • Strong network and relationship building skills
  • Business development experience would be an asset, but not required
  • Results orientation, strong desire to meet client expectations
  • Professional presence and presentation skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Previous work experience with CRMs like Bullhorn is an asset
  • Experience working with any Recruitment software would be an asset
  • Must be resourceful in methods and sources utilized to recruit candidates
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
  • Ability to recognize and cultivate new business opportunities and relationships
