full time Sales Manager, Janitorial Services & Specialty Programs?

Working within the Business Development structure, this position operates out of our Downtown Toronto and Etobicoke offices and will focus on clients in the Greater Toronto Area, with a primary focus on Downtown Toronto. The Sales Manager, Janitorial Services & Specialty Programs sells and delivers value added building service solutions with new accounts and expands the service offering with existing clients. They will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through a team of sales professionals in addition to identifying objectives and developing action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.

Summary of Position:

- Develops specific plans/programs to ensure revenue growth and profit margins with existing customers. – Collaborates with the Sr. V.P. Business Development on establishing realistic sales goals for the company. – Manages an assigned geographic sales territory and/or specific clients to maximize sales revenue and meet objectives. – As team leader, establishes & manages programs to compensate, coach, appraise and continually develop sales staff. – Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly & monthly revenue streams in addition to forecasting short/long-term effects of sales strategies on profits. – Negotiates sales prices and discounts for major clients in consultation with the Sr. V.P. Business Development. – Other projects as assigned by the Sr. V.P. Business Development.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Degree/Diploma in Marketing or Business Studies preferred; minimum 5 years related experience in the specialty cleaning services industry; or the equivalent combination of education & experience. – Analytical & problem-solving skills related to interpreting sales performance and market trends. – Proven track record of managing a sales team. – Experience with developing both marketing & sales strategies/programs. – Demonstrated ability to establish & maintain relationships with clients. – Previous experience in the janitorial services industry is a valuable asset. – Exemplary oral, written and electronic communication skills.
