HealthAware is the easiest way for patients to find health practitioners near them and book appointments online. We are the go-to online resource for health information and we're looking for talented contributors to join our team as we continue to revolutionize health care. HealthAware provides patients the peace of mind they crave while in pain and simultaneously helps practitioners (e.g. chiropractors, physiotherapists etc.) improve their services. Our team takes an active interest in helping our patients and practitioners succeed and constantly go out of our way to help them, so we expect you to do the same.

What we're looking for

High-quality articles and content targeted at our audience. HealthAware's audience primarily consists of 26 - 45 year olds with the majority of our users being female. They use HealthAware because they're in need of health practitioner to treat their pain and are looking to make an informed decision about their health. Our users expect helpful, educational content that provides them insight into their issues and guides them with their next steps.

Topics of interest to us will be provided but you will have the opportunity to both volunteer for pieces you're passionate about or pitch ideas you think will be useful to our audience.

We're pretty open minded about what you write, your preferred writing style, where you choose to work and publishing content you feel will truly add value to our audience
Get the opportunity to write content for the digital age. We value visual content such as infographics a lot so this is your chance to diversify your portfolio and experience.
Gain real experience conducting your own research, interviews with actual practitioners and patients and write in as many different styles as you wish
Get exposure for your work and build your reputation.
Those who are committed to helping us change the healthcare industry and publish a minimum of 5 pieces per month will receive a flat rate per article.

We need you to have:
Fantastic written and verbal communication skills in English
The ability to see projects through to completion with minimal oversight
Provide perspective from real patients and practitioners. You will be required to conduct interviews with our audience and publish relevant, top-notch content
Honesty and integrity. This doesn't really need saying but just in case, we will not accept anything but original work. Plagiarism of any sort will not be tolerated
Commitment and ability to deliver on the deadlines we set. We are pretty flexible however we move quickly and expect you to do the same with great results
Be a part of the team. This is a two-way conversation, if you feel there are ways we can provide a better service to our audience, let us know! We value your feedback and your opinions

It would be cool if you had:
Social media skills such as managing or growing fan bases for Twitter or Facebook
Experience in developing visual content such as infographics or videos
Any experience in working with practitioners like chiropractors, physiotherapists, dentists and etc.
