Seeking a creative, ambitious, anlaytical and enterprising Senior Media Buyer to join one of the world's top digital marketers. An e-commerce company founded in 2004 and consistently ranked top 5 in our vertical, we offer a rare platform for media buying at a massive scale. We need an aggressive marketer that can find key opportunities and drive growth as we expand into mobile and launch new products. With extensive A/B testing capabilities and a proprietary analytics and reporting system, we provide all of the tools you need to succeed, with a performance-based bonus program to reward your success.
Responsibilities fall into three main categories:
Conceptualize, review, approve ad creative and landing pages
Ensure all creative complies with relevant laws and Company standards
Liaise with tech and design team as needed
Help conceive, execute and monitor relevant A/B tests
Skills: Direct response marketing experience, knowledge of creative standards and policies, being organized, ability to communicate needs clearly
Media Buys
Primarily: Google (Adwords and Display), Facebook Ads
Onboarding new ad networks and partners
A to Z campaign management
Prospecting and cold calling
Contract negotiation and invoice disputes
Testing and launching
Optimization to ROI and other performance metrics
Staying current on new trends, opportunities
Meet strict ROI objectives
Liaise with tech team as needed
Skills: Strong knowledgeable of all digital marketing channels including SEM/PPC, Display, Social, and Email, RTBs. Mobile a plus.In-depth knowledge of Adwords, Facebook Ads, and other self-serve platforms. Proficiency with Excel. Competency in mathematics, especially statistics. Personable. Strong negotiator. Short learning curve.
Publishing/Data Monetization
Onboarding and optimizing new advertisers
Overseeing email list management
Business development
A to Z campaign management
Skills: Familiarity with DFP.
Other required traits and skills:
At least 3 years hands-on experience in performance marketing
Highly organized, responsive, personable, comfortable with deadlines
Highly competent with numbers and stats
Strong understanding of DR optimization methodology
Personality type that accepts high-stress
Problem-solver, takes initiative
Can engage and collaborate with other departments
Ability to master new computer systems, software and tools. Short learning curve.
Good communicator; can relay needs to non-marketing staff, explain situations to peers, etc.
Able to work in team setting and take direction
Able to quickly assess a situation and take action
Accountability to performance -- ownership of particular account or project
Position is in our luxurious office, located in the Plateau area of Montreal. We are willing to relocate the right candidate, and might consider a partly-remote engagement for a HIGHLY qualified candidate.
