Our new emphasis is that while it would be great to have Exchange 2010 expertise, we currently need resources with strong Exchange 2003 expertise also, in order to hit the ground running before they migrate to Exchange 2010.

Microsoft Certification *Certifications has been configured as Required on the Request Type. Certifications or Additional Certifications are required

Position Title — Exchange Administrator / Technical Analyst

Location — Downtown Toronto

Key Accountabilities:

Provide second level support for supported infrastructure products, sometimes facilitating support or troubleshooting efforts across various client support groups

Proactively maintain supported messaging systems to ensure maximum availability (e.g. monitoring, change implementations, compliance updates, etc.)

Ensure all escalated incidents are addressed in a timely manner — according to established process guidelines

Prioritize regularly in order to effectively and efficiently respond to business needs

Monitor change implementations, ensuring that any technical or operational problems, work flow issues, or service improvement issues are addressed and communicated to manager

Plan and schedule change request activities and implementations

Responsible for Incident Problem Management, along with Root Cause Analysis

Contribute to reporting obligations including trending, capacity, usage, and performance reporting

Participate and/or coordinate Disaster Recovery drills, and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into plans for real events

Research, recommend and/or implement “best practices” with respect to support and planning activities, thereby facilitating increased productivity

Collaborate with application owners or development teams to ensure compliance of supported servers

Conduct periodic audits of access privileges across all supported products

Participate in accomplishing team performance goals, and promote the concept of team building through daily interactions

Provide recommendations for process improvements

Resolve concerns or conflicts, or escalate to manager as appropriate

Scripting

Operating System Platforms — Windows Server 2003 / XP / Server 2008 / Windows 7

IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM audit requirements

Networking standards

Microsoft Office Communicator 2007

Microsoft Lync 2010

Cisco IronPort Appliances

Blackberry Enterprise Server 4.x / 5.x

Symantec KVS Enterprise Vault

Compliance Accelerator / Discovery Accelerator

Microsoft Outlook 2003 / 2007 / 2010

Cisco Unity Server

Lyris ListManager

Microsoft SQL Server knowledge would be an asset
