Our client is currently hiring a Customer Service Manager for their Large Format store in Oakville. Whether you are management in a retail store now or have been and want back in with a great organization. This is an opportunity you can't pass up.

What you will do:

Participate in the development of the store annual business plan
Lead the development and implementation of the annual business plan and budget for specific area(s) of store
Ensure that loss prevention policies are followed and that practices and programs are understood by all employees, that they are in place and they are complied with
Ensure the implementation of store merchandising and cleanliness standards in specific area(s) of the store
Manager resolution of customer complaints within specific area(s) of the store
Share best practices with team members
Perform Manager on Duty and Sales Generation Manager tasks as part of the overall management team of the store (as applicable)
Communicate appropriate context, standards and prescribed limits for direct reports
Establish effective working relationships with direct reports:
Solicit feedback on the work environment, potential changes affecting their work, continuous improvement opportunities
Provide direct reports with opportunities to further develop their skilled knowledge
Build and sustain a high performing team who is capable of delivering the work to meet performance goals
Promote and optimize teamwork:
Clearly articulate the linkages between the accountabilities and authorities of various roles and set the context in which they work with one another
Manage performance of direct reports:
Set goals and objectives, assess skills and knowledge gaps, allocate resources to close gaps, assess personal effectiveness and review base and variable pay
Provide direct reports with a clear understanding of performance standards as well as career opportunities within the company.

What you will need:

2 years minimum of leadership, customer service and sales experience in a retail environment
