Adknowledge operates an online auction to purchase advertising across the "long tail," enabling large advertisers to reach consumers in hard to reach places, such as games, email, smaller websites, and social media.

Its signature platform,, is a go-to destination for thousands of such advertisers. We have 300 employees, with offices in Kansas City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Ft. Myers, London, Toronto, Paris and Shanghai. Annual revenue is ~$300M and the company is very profitable.

Sub-brands include AdParlor (world's leading Facebook campaign optimization tool), Miva (display advertising) and Super Rewards (social games monetization).

At present, the company plans to file for a public offering within the next twenty-four (24) months.

AdParlor, a subsidiary of Adknowledge, is the global leader that operates a platform to manage large Facebook advertising campaigns (including Groupon's global campaign). We offer a full-service managed solution as well as a self-service solution for targeting, buying and optimizing Facebook ads. We work with all kinds of advertisers -- including large brands & agencies, social gaming publishers, direct response advertisers and local deal sites.


This newly created role will drive and facilitate the building and effective operating of a global, world class sales organization supporting our AdParlor business. Primary duties include:

Client Communication & RFPs: Empower the sales team by developing requests for proposals (RFPs) -- by both responding to incoming requests as well as identifying potential requests to pursue -- that deliver superior solutions and results for our clients' communication & advertising needs. Define and manage the process of properly documenting these RFPs in
Refine Media Plans: Regularly work with the Account Executives and Sales Operations Manager to create and refine media plans and ad proposal decks to help meet campaign objectives. Independent creative thinking is a must
Insights: Research past campaign performance using internal tools to provide insights on new campaign proposals
Social Industry Knowledge: Establish and maintain strong industry expertise and leverage that knowledge to communicate the value of social media across various industry verticals. Intelligently and persuasively articulate AdParlor's media offerings, competitive advantages, resources and processes to clients and prospects
Account Reviews: Assist Account Executive and Sales Operations Manager in developing client account reviews
Sales Support: Provide critical sales support to continuously meet the needs of our advertisers and the sales team


The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:

Minimum 2 years professional work experience
Minimum 1 year industry experience in online, social and brand marketing
Strong analytics experience
Familiar with advertising sales, media planning and/or media buying terminology and processes
Gravitas and experience sufficient to be seen as a peer and thought leader in the AdParlor team
Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to details

The candidate must be able to:

Become subject matter expert in all baseline data sources, wherein sales and operations have easy delivery upon request and/or access and confidence in relevant data sources; evaluate and recommend new technologies in where applicable
Remain calm in the face of uncertainty, rapid change, and aggressive deadlines common to rapidly growing companies with evolving business models
Work with sales leadership to identify prospective clients, obtain RFPs and successful complete requests for best chance to win new business. Prioritize projects and consistently meet aggressive deadlines
Seek continuous improvement each day. Proactively seek inefficiencies and process vulnerabilities across the sales process. Ideate, develop, "sell through" and own solutions, leveraging relevant external or internal resources to resolve
Conversant in client side sales processes, account management and trafficking procedures
