THE POSITION

The Pre-sales Engineer is the technical resource during pre-sales demonstrations educating potential clients on the use and benefits of RBRO products thereby enhancing the sales process to close the deal.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Work as an integral part of the sales team to drive the technical component of sales initiatives
• Demonstrate competency as a technical subject matter expert by thoroughly understanding RBRO products, features, functions, and benefits while being able to communicate this to all levels of an organization
• Work closely with sales during the prospect needs analysis phase to assist in uncovering and clearly identifying a prospect's critical business issues in order to recommend technical solutions
• Prepare and deliver technical product demonstrations to a variety of audiences from C-level to business user, to communicate the value of the technology to prospective clients
• Effectively demonstrate the functionality of RBRO products to clients in the Asia/Pacific region, via online, in-person or through telephone conferencing
• Provide effective training and support to clients and RBRO Partners
• Provide continuous improvement, refinement and documentation of pre-sales processes and best practice strategies
• Actively participate in conferences, tradeshows, and other events which will enhance sales initiatives
• Have a valid passport and travel up to 25%
• Other duties as required

THE CANDIDATE

Qualifications:
• 5 years pre-sales technical support experience
• 5 years' experience with Electronic Document Management/Records Management systems
• Experience with application integration design and architecture
• Demonstrated systems literacy skills (working knowledge of Document Management Solutions, such as iManage WorkSite, Opentext, Documentum, or Worlddox, etc., is preferred)
• Experience with legal and/or financial verticals would be an asset

Skills:
• Thorough understanding of Document Management technologies
• Thorough understanding of Records Management technologies
• Exposure to at least two components of:
o Contract Management
o Digital Asset Management
o Matter Management
o eDiscovery
• Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure, managing several projects simultaneously and coordinate major activities with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with advanced listening and interpersonal skills used to build rapport with clients and diverse audiences in a variety of settings
