Job Description

Movember Canada is currently looking to recruit a stellar Customer Service support team to help run our annual charity event. You will join our joyous team to support the campaign for up to 5 months starting in September 2012.

The Movember Foundation currently operates the Movember campaign in twenty one countries, including Canada, Australia, the US, UK, New Zealand, South Africa and Ireland. Through the power of the moustache, we have created a global movement that is changing the face of men’s health.

Your role will be to deliver outstanding customer service for the Movember campaign across Canada. You will be responsible for responding to all donor and participant telephone and email enquiries in a fast and effective manner, providing event and operations support to the wider Movember team, handling ad hoc

requests, problem solving, filing and data entry.

To succeed in this role you will be reliable, hardworking, friendly, confident, and a huge fan of men’s health and moustaches. You will need to have an outgoing personality, a willingness to work hard, and fantastic customer service skills. You will have proven experience in a similar customer service environment, excellent communication skills, experience in operational support, have a confident, professional manner, be proficient in MS Office and have a ‘can do’ attitude. This role is based in downtown Toronto with full training provided to the successful applicants.

*We will be hiring five staff that are fluently bilingual (written and verbal). Please note in your application if you will be applying for a bilingual position.

*We will be hiring a staff member to assist the comms team on the social media/media monitoring front. If you’re a digital native and would be eager to get involved with that side of the campaign please note this in your application.

• Be a team player
• Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Be able to tell the difference between a Fu Manchu and an Under Cover Brother
• “Get” customer service
• Have strong verbal and written communications skills; business writing skills; ability to draft and edit correspondence and reports with minimum supervision
• Have the ability to multi-task and set priorities
• Possess proficient computer skills: MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook)
• Be passionate about men’s health
• Love the Mo
• Have prior knowledge of the Movember campaign
• Have French language proficiency
