Positions Summary
The Production Supervisor will lead the process of Organizational change and workplace transformation by the introduction of concepts originating from experience in daily operations. The role is critical in the implementation of lean manufacturing, process improvements, safety and employee relations. We are looking for someone who effectively promotes team engagement, promoting trust and development, creating strong, collaborative teams.

Responsibilities/Tasks
-Contribute value adding entrepreneurial ideas, leverage team of 20-25, and mobilize energies added to make substantial, lasting change.
-Work in collaboration with departments to uncover opportunities, build coalitions and make change happen to optimize production performance.
-Build relationships with your team, staying attuned to employee’s needs, thereby ensuring the change initiatives momentum is maintained.
-Leads employees to achieve performance standards with regards to Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, line utilization and quality
-Aligns team agenda with Annual Operating Plan objectives
-Develops others by training employees – setting expectations, providing feedback and recognizing and rewarding good performance
-Evaluate team and individual performance and delegate responsibility, authority, and accountability accordingly
-Recommend improvements to process and/or equipment that enhance the manufacturing performance of the department.
-Initiate and/or suggest opportunities to enhance the Plant’s compliance to the principles of a High Performance System.
-Initiate and/or suggest opportunities to develop employee’s team skills.
-Implement corrective action related to process variations, equipment malfunctions, or operations endangering the safety of personnel or facility.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities *4-Year College Degree is Required — No Exceptions *2-5 Years of experience in a supervisory role *Leadership and entrepreneurial spirit to drive improvements *Must be creative, innovative and practical solution developer who can thrive in a fast paced environment *Must be energetic can do individual with previous lean manufacturing experience and a team player attitude *Excellent organizational skills, a strong ability to set and prioritize goals and the ability to motivate a team *Production Supervisors are re-assigned to other shifts for career development; must be willing and able to work all shifts, as assigned.
