Duties and Responsibilities:

- Source actuarial / cat modeling candidates and help financial institutions to fill their vacancies.
- Manage and maintain professional relationships with current clients and proactively acquire new clients.
- Review candidate inventory and contact potential applicants to arrange interview.
- Become a proficient user of in-house recruiting system.
- Follow standard operating procedures, to maximize efficiency.
- You will be involved in cold calling candidates to update their records.
- Execute business growth strategies
- Provide service and assist in responding to requirements from clients
- Research and identify new areas of growth
- Other duties deemed necessary.


- College/University degree in Human Resources / Business or equivalent.
- Experience with insurance recruiting, technical recruiting a plus.
- Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Advanced project management, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and French
- Multilingualism an asset
- Decisive and results oriented.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Skills in database management and record keeping.
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Gather and analyze information skillfully.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions.
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
- Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent intuition skills
- Think 'out of the box' skills
