Volunteer Grants Administrator- Job Description
Job Description: Habitat for Humanity Brampton is seeking a Volunteer Grants Administrator. The volunteer will research funding opportunities and write grant proposals to secure funding for HFHB. Previous experience or academic training in securing funding, knowledge of researching funders, and the ability to distinguish and identify funding opportunities for different projects is necessary. This individual must be organized and detail-oriented, comfortable following instructions. They report to the Fund Development Associate.

Time Commitment: Minimum commitment of 6 months or more with 8 to 12 hours per week - working 1 day in office and 1 day at home

Report: Work under the direction of the Fund Development Associate, Habitat for Humanity Brampton.
Position Duties:
• Prepare grant applications and related documents
• Assist in updating grant log through maintaining calendar of grant progress and due dates
• Develop and update grant templates for different projects and different phases of the build
• Prepare grant reporting to ensure compliance with funder requirements
• Research and identify possible grants and funding from corporations, foundations, institutions, faith groups
• Assist in preparing reports for grantors.

Qualification and Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of writing an organized, thoughtful and persuasive grant proposal
• Results-oriented, with a strong attention to detail
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Commitment to maintain confidentiality at all times, exercising tact, diplomacy and discretion
